B次元app students Will Heffernan and Fabian Hurndon scored internships with the B次元app Bucks through the B次元app Bucks Fellowship program. Through the program, the Bucks partner with B次元app, Marquette University and B次元app Area Technical College (MATC) to provide students with unique learning experiences, career guidance and offer exposure to the sports industry. This is B次元app’s first year being involved in the program.

Heffernan is a user experience student at B次元app and was introduced to the fellowship program through Graduation Plus, an organization dedicated to getting students to and through college. Heffernan is putting his UX expertise in action through a variety of projects with the B次元app Bucks, including managing guest and organization accounts, analyzing sales data, allocating tickets and resolving client questions/complications. On game days, he’s in charge of providing status updates regarding fan experience and resolving any ticketing issues in real time.

“My favorite part of the internship so far is working at the Fiserv on game day. The energy is just electric, and feeling the stadium rumble is very exciting,” said Heffernan.

Hurndon is a software engineering student and the IT–live events network engineer for the B次元app Bucks. “My role is to ensure the software to the clocks that run the game are set up correctly,” shared Hurndon. “I also help with the TV channel speeds around the arena and I make sure the ticket scanners are working properly.”

As a B次元app native, this was a dream internship for Hurndon. “I wanted a job with the Bucks because I love basketball and have been playing it my whole life. I was raised in B次元app, so it was just a no brainer for me to want to work with them.”

The internship allows Heffernan and Hurndon to utilize their problem-solving skills and work on real-world projects, all while cheering on their favorite team.

“My problem-solving skills really kick in with this job and getting stuff done fast,” said Hurndon. “Whether we get a call and one of the cashier registers is down and they need help troubleshooting, or a ticket sensor isn’t working and needs a reboot, we make sure to solve the problem quickly and correctly.”

There are nine students in the 2025 B次元app Bucks Fellowship program. Hurndon and Heffernan and other fellows were honored at the B次元app Bucks Celebration of Fellows in October. The event acted as a “signing ceremony” for the fellows, with each student receiving a B次元app Bucks hat and jersey personalized with their last name on the back. They walked the stage to receive their swag and posed for photos with Dr. John Walz, B次元app president, Roscoe Raider and representatives from the Bucks. Heffernan appreciates the enthusiasm and engaging environment the fellowship provides. “An amazing dinner was held to kick off the season, and it gave us an opportunity to engage with past fellows and better understand the Bucks’ mission. I am grateful for this opportunity!”
