Why Pay More for Film School?

Big-name film schools love to advertise prestige, but what they don鈥檛 show you is the price tag鈥攖uition costs that can rival buying a house, leaving graduates drowning in debt before they ever step onto a set. B次元 flips that script. Here, you鈥檒l learn from working professionals, gain access to Hollywood while you study, and start building a real portfolio without mortgaging your future. The difference is simple: more hands-on, less debt, and a faster path into the industry.

Questions About the Program? We鈥檝e Got You.

This is where you鈥檒l find everything specific to B次元鈥檚 Cinema & TV Department 鈥 how it works, what it offers, and why it just might be the smartest move you make for your career in film.

Because you鈥檒l get the same hands-on, career-building training 鈥 without the six-figure debt.

At B次元, you鈥檙e not paying for prestige 鈥 you鈥檙e paying for access, experience, and opportunity. You鈥檒l touch cameras in your first semester, work with real crews, and walk away with a reel, not just a diploma.
And all for just $46 a unit.

Yes. It鈥檚 a game changer.

Studying in Hollywood means you鈥檙e not just learning about the industry 鈥 you鈥檙e surrounded by it.
Internships, networking, studio tours, guest speakers 鈥 it鈥檚 all just a few blocks away. You're in the city where production happens every day, and you never know who you'll meet or where your work might lead.

Absolutely. That鈥檚 what we鈥檙e here for.

We built our program for beginners and career changers. You鈥檒l learn by doing, with guided support from instructors who鈥檝e worked in the business. You don鈥檛 need experience 鈥 just curiosity and commitment.

Then you're ahead of the game.

Many of our students already hold AA, BA, or even MA degrees 鈥 they come to us for what they 诲颈诲苍鈥檛 get elsewhere: hands-on production experience, crew credits, and the skills to actually work in film and TV.
You can take one class, earn a fast-tracked certificate, or build a new creative career entirely.

You鈥檒l do what filmmakers do: create.

  • Write, shoot, and edit your own projects

  • Crew on multi-camera productions

  • Build a diverse, real-world portfolio

  • Learn studio production, field production, sound design, post-production, and more

  • Graduate with skills that translate directly to jobs, gigs, or transfers

Yes 鈥 and with a head start.

Students transfer to places like UCLA, CSUN, USC, Chapman, AFI, and more.
But here鈥檚 the difference: B次元 students transfer with experience. While other programs spend two years on theory, we get you on set in semester one.

You can 鈥 and many do. Just don鈥檛 expect it to be handed to you.

This is a competitive industry, and B次元 gives you the tools and mindset to stand out. Employers want more than a degree 鈥 they want proof that you can do the work. You鈥檒l leave with that proof.
Many of our students start freelancing, working on sets, or producing content before they even graduate.

Very. We get it 鈥 life is busy.

We offer Fall, Spring, Winter, and Summer start dates, with day, evening, and online courses.
Whether you're working full-time or raising a family, there鈥檚 a schedule that can work for you 鈥 and an instructor who鈥檒l meet you where you are.

You can. And that one class might change your life.

Many of our best students came here 鈥渏ust to try it.鈥 All it takes is one course 鈥 and from there, you can go as far as you want.
Whether it鈥檚 screenwriting, directing, editing, or studio production 鈥 there鈥檚 room for you here.

Yes 鈥 and we recommend it.

TV and Film share more in common than you might think. Cross-training in both opens up more career options and helps you become a more versatile storyteller. That鈥檚 why we even offer hybrid certificates like Cinema-Video Production.

More than you鈥檇 expect.

We connect students with internships through our Cooperative Education Program, help them access affordable software and equipment, and keep a steady flow of industry opportunities in your inbox.
You鈥檙e never just a number here 鈥 you鈥檙e part of a creative community.
